First, we do a visual once-over — looking for any dried coolant residue around hoses, fittings, and the radiator. (White, green, or pink stains are a dead giveaway.)
Next, we grab the pressure tester, connect it to the radiator, and pump it up to match the pressure rating listed on the coolant cap.
Then it’s time to go hunting — checking clamps, hose joins, radiator tanks, the water pump, heater core, and even inside the cab if needed.
Sometimes the smallest leaks cause the biggest dramas.
