This Kenworth SAR came to us with a frustrating miss. It would idle just fine, but the moment you put your foot down — it coughed and spluttered.

We got to work, checking for air in the fuel (all clear). Next step? Vacuum pressure. And that’s where things got interesting — pressure was building, which pointed us in the right direction.

We pulled the inlet to the fuel filter housing and found it packed with sludge and debris. The check valve was gunked up too. After a thorough clean of both, the difference was immediate — smooth power and no more hesitation.

Sometimes it’s not about replacing parts — it’s about knowing where to look.
