One of our customers had been chasing a pesky air leak.
You know the kind — you park up for the night, come back in the morning, and all your air is gone… but during the day? You can’t find a thing.

We sprayed everything.
Valves, fittings, lines — every time the truck came in.
No bubbles. Nothing obvious. One of those leaks that makes you question your sanity.

Then we noticed something that looked harmless.
The airbags had a few tiny surface cracks. Nothing dramatic. They’d never shown bubbles under normal checks.

The breakthrough came when the customer had his trailer hooked up. With the extra weight on, the airbags splayed out just enough to open those tiny cracks — and suddenly, there it was. A faint air leak.

That’s where his air was disappearing to overnight.
Under load, the cracks opened. Parked up, the air slowly leaked away.

It’s a good reminder that some leaks only show themselves under real-world conditions.
At Webbie’s Mechanical, we don’t stop at “can’t find it” — we keep digging until the problem makes sense.
