Webbie’s Mechanical was established in 2018 and is a family owned and operated mechanical workshop specialising in heavy duty diesel mechanics including prime movers and trailers.

At our modern and fully equipped workshop located in Welshpool, we provide customers with quality workmanship, fast turn-around, affordable prices and good old-fashioned customer service.

Owned and operated by Scott and Jade Webb, the husband and wife team work together to provide customers with a wide range of mechanical services and a wealth of knowledge gained from hands-on workshop experience.

Scott originally started his apprenticeship at Kip & Steve’s Mechanical Repairs where he worked hard to gain his qualifications. From Kip & Steve’s, Scott moved to Truck Centre Kewdale.

It was at this workshop that Scott continued with his heavy vehicle education in Volvo’s and Macks, before moving to work at Mitchell West. Mitchell West saw Scott work on Kenworth’s, Freightliner’s and trailer work which included brakes, wheel bearings, and servicing.

Scott worked at BIS where he diagnosed and repaired mining vehicles with multiple engines. After this Scott moved onto to Toll Mining where once again he gained more skills in engine repairs, large mining equipment and trailers as well as site work.

Following this Scott and Jade went travelling around Australia and Scott was employed as a sub-contractor in South Australia working on returned army vehicles requiring component rebuilds including differentials and gearbox’s.

Scott and Jade then moved back to Western Australia, to resume working back at Truck Centre gaining more experience on Mack trucks, and then MLG in MT Magnet. The pair then decided to put their knowledge into practice, by opening up their own workshop which they branded as Webbie’s Mechanical.

Jade Webb has a background in administration and alongside Scott works in all aspects of the business, including all admin, office and customer service work as well as hands on in the workshop as a qualified mechanic.
