A Volvo rolled into the workshop after losing all of its coolant. The driver was worried — and for good reason.

At first glance it looked like a cooling issue, but we quickly realised the system was actually pressurising. That’s never a good sign.

We dug deeper, isolating the components one by one until we found the culprit — the air compressor. Instead of doing its job, it was broken and forcing air straight into the cooling system.

That extra pressure caused the radiator to split wide open, dumping every last drop of coolant.

With the compressor replaced and the cooling system repaired, the Volvo is back on the road, running smooth and leak-free — and the driver has peace of mind knowing the real issue was fixed.
