You want to feel confident with your own vehicle
There’s a particular kind of confidence that comes from knowing your own vehicle — being able to pop the bonnet, check your fluids, and spot a problem before it strands you. You don’t need to be a mechanic to have it. You just need someone to show you, once, in plain language. That’s exactly what our courses are for.
But most of us were never actually taught
The trouble is nobody hands you a manual for this stuff. Plenty of capable people have never been shown how to check their oil, test their wiper blades, or read the warning signs on a truck before a shift. And what you don’t know, you can’t check — which is how small, cheap problems grow into roadside ones.
So we teach it, hands-on and jargon-free
We’ve built a series of practical, hands-on courses, and there’s a good line-up coming in August. There’s a women’s car-care day where you bring your own car and we show you how to check your fluids, wiper blades and lights. Straight after, there’s a teens session — as a mum of a pre-teen, Jade reckons it’s vital that young drivers learn to look after their own vehicle. Truck training — at our place or yours
For the trucks, we’ve a couple of maintenance courses on too. We’re hosting one at the workshop with a customer’s truck up on the hoist so everyone can walk underneath it. And because getting a fleet off-site isn’t always easy, Scott and Jade have built a course we bring to your yard: we line your trucks up and teach your drivers to tilt a cab or bonnet, check coolant and oil, and check for turntable bush and kingpin play — a proper pre-start, start to finish.
Fewer 2am breakdown calls
The whole point is simple: a driver who can do a proper pre-start catches the problems that would otherwise ring your phone at 2am. It’s cheaper, safer, and it keeps trucks moving.
