An aircon that works when it’s cool but gives up when it’s hot is a classic sign that something is not right. Often the system is low on gas, or a fault is only showing itself once the load goes up in the heat of the day. Either way, it rarely fixes itself, and it only gets more noticeable as summer sets in.
